Interpersonal health surveillance
Could the abundance of personal health data, combined with government and industry incentives for wellness, create a future with a "high degree of interpersonal surveillance" where "monitoring family and even friends is a common practice"? This suggests a future where urban environments require significant amounts of design and infrastructure to accommodate these new data streams and today's health data governance frameworks may be severely stressed, requiring new ones that are more versatile and nuanced.
