A flowchart identifies 6 market-entry pathways for new mobility firms.

Playbook for community-first mobility design

The New Urban Mobility Foundation published a resource for cities and mobility advocates to engage communities in the planing and design of new mobility services, and to develop new market-entry pathways that lead to better outcomes for cities and their residents. This is an important playbook to help city leaders regain control over what needs urban mobility technologies serve and how they are deployed. After a decade of mobility services innovators rollout out services that disrupt existing regulated markets and "asking for forgiveness", this project seeks to identify ways to co-create the purpose, evaluation and deployment of urban technologies.
